It would have been nearly intollerably disgusting for a few reasons, all of which would be caused by the massive amount of blood left in the meat.

When animals are slaughtered they are bled or drained. The blood you see coming out of the steaks you buy at the store is much MUCH less and diluted than the initial unbled meat.

now consider this, you breaded it right? well, how did you stop the blood from saturating the breading? the best you could have pulled off would have been to do it as a wellington (if you insisted on breading it)
and even then all that thick rich cooked blood in the meat would taste horrible.
